Breathwork

This workshop provides a introduction to the mechanics and anatomy of the diaphragm and breath, followed by practicing various breathwork exercises in order to receive a broad understanding of the effects of breath. Participants will practice types of breathwork ranging from activating and enlivening to grounding and settling. Participants with any amount of experience welcome.

Meditation

The intention is to provide an experience of various forms of meditation. Guidance around focal points such as breath, feeling into embodied and external resource/awareness, and easing into space are offered. I teach what I have practiced myself.

Nervous System Overview and Emotional Body Practices

The intention is to provide education around nervous system dynamics and bring awareness to patterns that show up in each of us. Participants will feel into nervous system health as well as how events in our lives may have effected this system and the body. Graphs and theory alongside somatic listening will be explored.

Life Mission and Values

Participants spend time feeling into their own values and vision in life. Journaling, group conversation and somatic practices bring us to clarity around what wants to be created from within. As individuals and a group, we orient to a vision of the world we'd like to co-create and certain actions that we can bring as individuals.

Mobility and Myofascial Release

The intention of this workshop is to offer tools for joint and fascial health outside of the normal stretching/strengthening paradigm. Participants will explore range of motion exercises and myofascial release points on the whole physical body to offer a broad experience into expanded physical health.

Movement and Physical Body 101

Participants will learn how to support their bodies through all spinal movements and many common movement transitions. The workshop will offer cues on how to safely hold shapes and transition between them, with a focus on movements used in day to day life.
